No. SKTV is a player only. It ships with no channels, playlists or stream links. You add a source from a provider you already have — Xtream login, M3U link, or Stalker portal. This app does not provide channels, playlists, or stream URLs. You bring your own source. We do not support illegal services. We support the player, not the reseller.

Yes — every feature, no trial, no account, nothing collected.

Windows 10/11 (64-bit), macOS 11+ on Apple Silicon and Intel, and Linux (.deb, .AppImage, .rpm). Not iOS, Android or smart TVs — SKTV is a desktop player by design.

The installer is signed by David Krouskoff through Microsoft's signing service, but a new certificate has no reputation with SmartScreen yet. Click More info → Run anyway. It stops appearing once enough people have installed it.

The Mac build isn't notarized with Apple yet. Open System Settings → Privacy & Security, scroll down, click Open Anyway. You only do this once.

Because the provider's stream is delivered in segments and sits several seconds behind the broadcast before it ever reaches you. Low Latency shrinks SKTV's own buffer to about three seconds; the provider's part can't be shrunk by any player. More →

Yes — from the player or scheduled from the guide, with an "end late" overrun for sports. Recordings use the same connection as the picture where possible, so you don't get cut off for exceeding your provider's connection limit. Keep the app running for scheduled recordings.

Yes, with posters, seasons, resume and auto-next, plus downloads with resume. Xtream sources give the richest library; M3U depends on what's in the file.

Yes and yes. Several sources side by side, several XMLTV guides per playlist, a per-playlist time offset, and manual guide overrides for channels whose IDs don't match.

Installed copies check a signed manifest shortly after start and every few hours, and offer an "Install & restart" button. The update is verified against a key built into the app before it runs. You can also check by hand in Settings → About.

In a local SQLite database in your user profile. Passwords are stored encrypted and never written to logs or diagnostic reports. Settings → Backup exports everything to an encrypted file you can restore on another machine.
