Windows signed

Windows 10 or 11, 64-bit.

  1. Run the installer. It can install just for you (no admin) or for everyone on the PC.
  2. The installer is code-signed by David Krouskoff (verified by Microsoft). While the certificate is new, SmartScreen may still show Windows protected your PC once — click More info → Run anyway. Edge may ask you to Keep the download.
  3. WebView2 is fetched automatically if your PC doesn't have it (nearly all do).
  4. Had the app when it was still called desktop-iptv? Just install SKTV over it — playlists and settings carry over.

macOS

macOS 11 Big Sur or newer. Pick your chip: Apple menu → About This Mac.

  1. Open the .dmg and drag SKTV to Applications.
  2. The Mac build isn't notarized yet. On first launch macOS will say it can't verify the developer: open System Settings → Privacy & Security, scroll down and click Open Anyway. Once.
  3. Updates after that install in place.

Linux

x86-64. Needs libmpv (libmpv2 or libmpv1) from your distro.

  1. .deb pulls in libmpv for you. For the AppImage, install libmpv first (sudo apt install libmpv2 or your distro's equivalent), then chmod +x and run.
  2. X11 is the tested path; on Wayland the video window may sit above the app's overlay.
